In Living Color 1

I guess if you want to get technical I really started my art career much earlier than originally stated.  It was sometime in the mid seventies when I decided to try a Tole painting class that was offered in the neighborhood close to where I worked at the time.  Several of my co-workers gathered for the evening class held once a week.  I remember the teacher's name was Terrie and she was an incredible Tole painter.  As I was going back through some of my art supplies I found all of the patterns, the notes I took throughout the class and the original supply list we received. Just in case I ever want to go that direction again although I don't think I will since it is a rather dated subject.  I had a great time and learned a lot about using my pinky finger to hold my hand up off the paper in order to make the necessary strokes in one sweep.  Below are a few pictures of the completed pieces I still have minus one Noel plaque that is stored with the Christmas boxes in the attic. which is my favorite by the way.
